Jerry Lynn Hurst

Jerry Lynn Hurst, age 63, of Springfield, KY passed away at 2:24 p.m., Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at the Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown.

He was born in Bardstown, KY on September 20, 1960 to Donald and Mary Agnes Fenwick Hurst.

He was a member of the Springfield Baptist Church, a 1978 graduate of Washington County High School, an Air Force Veteran and an employee of Log Steel Distillery.

Preceding him in death was his father, Donald Hurst and a brother, Donald Alan Hurst.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Agnes Hurst; two brothers, Jimmy Hurst and David Hurst and his wife, Tina of Springfield and a sister-in-law, Elaine Hurst of Richmond and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 2nd at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Aaron Sherrell, officiating.

Burial will be in the Peter Cemetery at Mackville.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ben Hurst, Jordan Hurst, Alan Hurst, John Smith, Kayden Bickett and Charles Dant.

Visitation will be after 10:00 Friday morning at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
