Jerry Coulter, age 71, of Springfield, KY., passed away at 5:20 p.m., Saturday, December 26, 2020 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.
He was a native of Washington County, born on February 20, 1949 to the late George Frank and Minnie P. Hill Coulter.
He was a member of the Willisburg Church Of God Of Prophecy where he served as a deacon and Sunday School teacher. Jerry was a 1968 graduate of Washington County High School and attended St. Catharine College. He was a retired employee of the General Electric Company of Louisville.
Preceding him in death was a brother, Boyd Coulter on June 29, 1972 and two sisters, Joyce Coulter on May 15, 2010 and Florene Phillips on September 24, 2011.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Fay Chesser Coulter; a son, Jeremy Coulter (Carita) of Springfield; a daughter, Ashley Coulter of Mackville; two grandchildren, Tyler Coulter and Blake Coulter; three step grandchildren, Cacey Burress, Jessica Bland and Daniel Driscoll; a step-great grandchild, Casen Bland and a brother, Georgie Coulter (Delores) of Springfield.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 30th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Creech, pastor of the Willisburg Church Of God Of Prophecy, officiating.
Burial will be on Cemetery Hill.
Serving as pallbearers will be Tyler Coulter, Blake Coulter, Frankie Coulter, Timmy Coulter, Richie Chesser and Mike Railey.
Visitation will be after 10:00 Wednesday morning at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
