Jami LeeAnn Lawson

Jami LeeAnn Lawson, age 35, of Springfield, KY passed away at 6:33 a.m., Saturday, August 27, 2022 at the Kindred Hospital in Louisville.

She was born in Lebanon, Kentucky on July 10, 1987.

She was a member of the Springfield Christian Church, a 2005 graduate of Washington County High School and received her bachelor’s degree in science and health management from Colorado Technical University.

Preceding her in death were maternal grandparents, Jimmy and Linda Hale, her step maternal grandfather, Cliff Carrico and her maternal great grandparents, Ben and Lillian Mattingly.

Survivors include her parents, Joe and Kimberly Hale Grigsby of Springfield, her father, Brent Lawson of Springfield; a sister, Haley Grigsby of Springfield; three brothers, Joseph Grigsby, Jr. (Heather), Waylon Grigsby and Joseph Brent Lawson all of Springfield: her paternal grandmother, Barbara Coulter of Bardstown; her paternal grandfather, Norvel Lee Lawson of Louisville and a special friend, Tanya Abell of Springfield.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 Tuesday, August 30th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Bro. John Russell, officiating.

Burial will be on Cemetery Hill.

Serving as pallbearers will be John Hale, Chris Hale, Steve Hale, Mike Lawson, Devin Abell and Logan Spalding.

Visitation will be after 10:00 Tuesday morning at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
