James "Jimmie" D. Fisher

James D. “Jimmie” Fisher, age 69, of Taylorsville, KY, formerly of Willisburg, KY passed away at 7:16 a.m., Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at Baptist Health in Louisville.

He was born on June 15, 1956 in Louisville, Kentucky.

Preceding him in death was his mother, Opal Frances White on May 30 1995 and a brother, Paul Douglas White, Jr. on April 3, 2015.

Survivors include his step-father, Paul D. White, Sr. of Mt. Eden; a brother, William Fisher of San Antonio, Texas; a niece, Jennifer White; a nephew, Johnathan White and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 Friday, February 20th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Martin, officiating.

Burial will be in the White’s Lonesome Dove Cemetery at Willisburg.

Visitation will be after 10:00 Friday morning at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
