James Thomas Pretzer

James Thomas Pretzer, age 67, of Springfield, KY passed away at 10:34 a.m., Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at the Spring View Hospital in Lebanon.

He was born on February 15, 1957 in Ravenna, Ohio to Roland and Miriam Riemer Pretzer.

He was a member of the Thompsonville Baptist Church and a retired press operator for Ft. Dearborn Printing Company of Louisville.

Preceding him in death was his father, Roland Pretzer.

Survivors include his wife, Carrie Stagner Pretzer; a daughter, Mandy Sutton (John) of Louisville; two sons, Joshua Pretzer (Sarah) of Roseburg, OR and Ryan Pretzer (Heather) of Willisburg; nine grandchildren; his mother, Miriam Pretzer of Denver, CO; three sisters, Barbara Ronne (Randy) of Eugene, OR, Joanne Matson of Meridian, ID and Beverly Edmon (Harry) of Seattle, WA and two brothers, Bryan Pretzer (Pam) of Scituate, MA and Jay Pretzer (Elaine) of Manitou Springs, CO.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 21st at the Thompsonville Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Goss, officiating.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.

Serving as pallbearers will be Joshua Pretzer, Ryan Pretzer, Dylan Rogers, Cody Stagner, Jay Pretzer and Bryan Pretzer.

Visitation will be at the Thompsonville Baptist Church from 5 until 8 Sunday and after 9:00 Monday morning.
