James Marvin Hardin, age 82, of Mackville, KY passed away at 4:44 a.m., Friday, May 16, 2025 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
A native of Washington County, he was born on February 18, 1943 to the late James W. “J.W.” and Lucy Alice Hardin.
He was a member of the Willisburg Church of God of Prophecy, a graduate of Springfield High School and a former employee of Armour Food Company and Toyotomi of Springfield.
Preceding him in death was his sister, Mildred Pinkston on June 9, 2022.
Survivors include his wife, Faye Byrd Hardin; two daughters, Angela Mattingly (John) and Crystal Podoyak and two grandchildren, Eric Mattingly and Emily Mattingly all of Mackville.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 19th at the Willisburg Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Mike Willingham and Rev. Keith Creech, officiating.
Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.
Visitation will be at the Willisburg Church of God of Prophecy from 4 until 8 Sunday and after 8:00 Monday morning.
