James Morris Lottis, age 86, of Willisburg, KY passed away at 8:54 p.m., Monday, December 9, 2024 at the Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington.
A native of Marion County, he was born on February 2, 1938 to the late William Morris and Lucille Riley Lottis.
He was a member of the Willisburg Christian Church, a retired employee of YKK in Lawrenceburg and a member of the J. Speed Smith Masonic Lodge # 298 F & AM at Willisburg.
Preceding him in death was his wife, Alene Chesser Lottis on July 25, 2024; a brother, Clelland Lottis; a half-brother, Dallas Cooper McCarty and a half-sister, Helen Heistand.
Survivors include three sisters-in-law, Edith Rose Lewis and Ann Riley of Springfield and Jean “Sissy” Washburn of Willisburg; a brother-in-law, Bobby Gene Chesser (Sue) of Willisburg and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, December 15th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Sheena Blake, officiating.
Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.
Serving as pallbearers will be Josh McCue, Robert Blake, Jeremy Coulter, Dennis Chesser, Douglas Miller and Nathan Lewis.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 Saturday at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
