Jacob Wayne Comstock

Jacob Wayne Comstock, age 27, of Bardstown, KY passed away Saturday, May 9, 2026 while vacationing near Oaxaca, Mexico.

He was born in Louisville, KY on November 25, 1998, was a graduate of Bullitt East High School, received an associate’s degree from the University of Louisville and was an employee of Sazerac Distilling Company in New Albany, IN. He was a member of the Field of Grace Church in Bullitt County.

Preceding him in death was his step-grandfather, Charlie Goode and his paternal grandparents, Peggy Roberts and Daniel Comstock.

Surviving is his mother, Stephanie Twiford of Bardstown; his father and step-mother, Carl and Sheri Comstock of Louisville; his little brother, Daniel Comstock; four sisters, Arianna Twiford; Brynda Cecil (Kyle), Hannah Cecil (William) and Brooklyn Tomerlin; his maternal grandmother, Gail Goode (David) of Bardstown; his maternal grandfather, Steven Twiford (Barbara) of Jeffersonville, IN; a special cousin that Jacob considered a brother, Dalton Marlow and his extended family, Steve Peak and his children, Steven, Bryan and Alyssa Peak.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, May 24th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. E. J. Lanham officiating.

Visitation will be after 2:30 Sunday afternoon at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
