Geraldine "Gerry" Frances (Boone) Smith

Geraldine Frances “Gerry” Boone Smith, age 75, of Springfield, KY passed away at 4:31 p.m., Sunday, January 4, 2026 at the Spring View Hospital in Lebanon.

She was born in Lebanon, KY on April 28, 1950 to the late William H. and Violet Webb Boone.

She was a member of the St. Dominic Catholic Church, a 1968 graduate of St. Catharine Academy and a retired longtime nurse with the Springfield Nursing & Rehab Center.

Survivors include her daughter, Maureen Curtsinger (Jamie) of Springfield; three grandchildren, Jacob Curtsinger, Joshua Curtsinger and Mary Katherine Curtsinger and a sister, Anne Neel (Jimmy) of Fredericktown.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 Wednesday morning, January 7th at the St. Dominic Catholic Church with Rev. Culpepper Elliott, officiating.

Inurnment will be in the St. Dominic-Holy Rosary Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 9:00 Wednesday morning at the St. Dominic Catholic Church.
