Geneva Lewis Warner, age 89, of Springfield, KY passed from this life to her eternal home with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at the Green Hill Rehabilitation & Care Center in Greensburg.
Mrs. Warner was born on November 23, 1932, in Washington County to the late Raymond Hollis and Corrine Chesser Lewis.
She was a member of the Temple Baptist Church in Springfield and a retired employee of the General Electric Company of Louisville.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Frank Edward Warner on December 12, 1989; her father, Raymond Hollis Lewis on November 5, 1991; her mother, Corrine Chesser Lewis on February 17, 1997; a sister, Marcella Bandy on July 7, 1987; a brother, Michael Hollis Lewis on February 12, 2000 and a son-in-law, Johnnie Dale Mitchell on October 23, 2012.
Survivors include one son, Douglas (Sheila) Warner of Bardstown; two daughters, Wanda Janes (Jr.) of Bardstown; Lisa Carrier of Willisburg; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
To carry out Ms. Warner’s wishes there will be no public visitation and no formal service. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.
