Gayle (Settles) Bottoms

Gayle Settles Bottoms, age 76, of Willisburg, KY passed away at 7:49 a.m., Saturday, December 16, 2023 at her residence.

She was born on June 8, 1947 in Lebanon, KY to the late Donald W. and Georgia Chloe Lanham Settles.

She was a member of the Thompsonville Baptist Church and was a 1965 graduate of Mackville High School.

Preceding her in death was her husband, William Collins “Bill” Bottoms on June 8, 2023; an infant son, Wesley Todd Bottoms on May 6, 1966 and a granddaughter, Tiffani Amber Curtsinger on December 6, 1996.

Survivors include a daughter, Tanya Roach (James) of Willisburg; a son, Stacy Bottoms (Abby) of Mt. Pleasant, NC; two grandchildren, Megan Campbell and Blake Bottoms; four step-grandchildren, Noelle, Kate, Alex and Emma Roach; a sister, Donna Hawkins of Harrodsburg and three brothers, Rev. Terry Settles (Debra) of Moulton, AL, Randy Settles (Frances) of Springfield and Ricky Settles (Jennifer) of Willisburg.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon, Wednesday, December 20th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Settles, officiating.

Burial will be on Cemetery Hill.

Serving as pallbearers will be James Roach, Michael Settles, Caleb Coulter, Brad Settles, Brian Settles and David Rowland.

Visitation will be after 10:00 Wednesday morning at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
