Gary Allen Morgan

Gary Allen Morgan, age 73, of Fredericktown, KY passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025 at his home with family by his side after a long illness.

He was born in Scottsville, KY on January 5, 1952 to the late Allen Floyd “Jake” and Sarah Francis Strausburg Morgan.

He was a member of the Bardstown Baptist Church, a 1970 graduate of Allen County High School, a 1978 graduate of Western Kentucky University, a former employee of Southern States and a retired manager of Fisher Auto Parts in Bardstown.

Preceding him in death was his daughter-in-law, Jaclyn Noel Morgan on November 22, 2024; two sisters, Irene Hughes and Louise Gardner and two brothers, Gene Morgan and Robert Morgan.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Vicky Williams Morgan; his son, Chad Morgan of Willisburg; two sisters, Faye Burris of Scottsville and Brenda Pearson of Pee Wee Valley; two brothers, Joe Morgan (Kathy) of Hodgenville and Dwight Morgan of Leitchfield and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 29th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Blevins, officiating. He will be assisted by Bro. Lance Ladd.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.

Serving as pallbearers will be nephews.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 Monday and after 8:00 Tuesday morning at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.

Carey & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
