Garland Howard Orberson

Garland Howard Orberson, age 52, of Long Run Road, Springfield, KY passed away at 11:40 a.m., Friday, March 24, 2023 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.

He was born in Lebanon, KY on June 19, 1970 to William Howard and Judy Garrett Orberson.

He was a member of the Arbuckle Baptist Church, a graduate of Marion County High School and an employee of Hendrickson of Lebanon.

Preceding him in death was his father, William Howard Orberson on July 1, 2008 and a sister, Sabrina Renee Burkhead on December 3, 2022.

Survivors include his wife, Tonya Hinds Orberson; a son, Jonathan Orberson of Campbellsville; a daughter, Hope Danielle Orberson of Calvary; three step-daughters, Christy Culver-Barnett (Joshua) and Lashanna Gibson (Scott) of Springfield and Melanie Thompson of Calvary; ten grandchildren; his mother, Judy Orberson of Calvary and a brother, Ronald Dewayne Orberson (Melinda) of Campbellsville.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday evening, March 28th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Bo Sherrell, officiating.

Cremation will follow the funeral services.

Visitation will be after 10:00 Tuesday morning at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
