Gail Hill Jewell

Gail Hill Jewell, age 65, of Springfield, KY passed away at 8:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at her home after an illness.

A native of Washington County, she was born on May 27, 1957 to the late Dixie and Valerie “Tootie” Wohner Hill.

She was a member of the Temple Baptist Church and a former employee of Sansbury Care Center at St. Catharine.

Preceding her in death was a brother, Keith Hill on March 10, 1992.

Survivors include her husband, Leslie Jewell; a daughter, Lisa Jewell Hood; a son, Robbie Jewell all of Springfield; three grandchildren, Blake Jewell, Mickayla Hood and Katelyn Larsen; a great grandchild, Rowan Larsen; a sister, Kathy Case (Paul) of Bloomfield and a brother, Larry Hill of Springfield.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 22nd at the Temple Baptist Church with Rev. John McDaniel, the church pastor, officiating.

Burial will be on Cemetery Hill.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Ian Larsen and Robbie Jewell.

Serving as casket bearers will be Leslie Jewell, Blake Jewell, Tommy Case, Timmy Coulter, Vernon Jewell and Darrell Jewell.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 Wednesday at the Carey & Son Funeral Home and after 10:00 Thursday morning at the Temple Baptist Church.

Carey & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
