Fred William Frick

Fred William Frick, age 78, of the Sharpsville Community of Washington County, KY passed away at 12:42 p.m., Monday, April 14, 2025 at the Ephraim McDowell James B. Haggin Hospital in Harrodsburg.

He was born on January 9, 1947 in Ashton, Iowa to the late George Henry and Dorothy Dean Bates Frick.

Fred was a farmer and a veteran of the United States Army.

Preceding him in death were two grandsons, Gunner Andrews and Dakota Casey and two brothers, Robert Frick and Donald Frick.

On November 3, 1972 he was united in marriage to Linda Kay Kaufman whom he is survived by. Also surviving are four sons, Jamie (Connie Jo) Frick of Brandon, SD, Billy (Lynn) Frick of South Mulberry, FL, Earl Frick of Bowling Green and Fred Frick, Jr. of Nicholasville; four daughters, Angel (DeWayne) Napier of Nicholasville, Rosemary (Brian) Cundiff of Springfield, Michelle (David) Andrews of Lexington and Pamela (Joseph) Perkins of Lawrenceburg; forty grandchildren including grandson, William Henry Cundiff; ten great grandchildren; a sister, Roberta Peterson of Hartley, Iowa and a brother, Carl (Cathy) Frick of New York Mills, MN.

In keeping with his wishes cremation was chosen and a celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 24, 2025 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Emulation Lodge at Sharpsville.
