Frances Young Obituary

Frances Roution Young, age 83, of Shelbyville, KY, formerly of Mackville, passed away at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at the Masonic Home in Shelbyville.

A native of Marion County, she was born on May 7, 1938 to the late Onie Marshall and Margaret V. Cox Roution.

She was a former employee of Cowden Manufacturing Company.

Preceding her in death was her husband, James Allen Young on May 31, 2009; a sister, Martha Amos and three brothers, Edward, Eugene and O.J. Roution.

Survivors include two daughters, Belinda Wohner (Roger) of Mackville and Margaret Miller (Chester Watson) of Waddy; three grandchildren, Daniel Abston (Jessica) of Louisville, Bobbi Jo Brown (Simon) of Stanford and Hunter Watson of Waddy and five great grandchildren, Audrey Brown, Mia Brown, Wyatt Brown, Olivia Abston and James Abston.

In keeping with her wishes cremation was chosen.

There are no services scheduled at this time.
