Frances LaDean (Allen) Kirchhoff

Frances LaDean Allen Kirchhoff, age 88, of Springfield, KY formerly of Blue Springs, MO passed away at 6:32 p.m., Saturday, December 2, 2023 at the Village of Lebanon Nursing Home.

She was born in Missouri on January 15, 1935 to the late Doris W. and Frances Foster Allen.

She was a member of The Church of the Redeemer, a graduate of Lee's Summitt High School in Missouri and received her teaching degree from Mississippi College. Mrs. Kirchhoff received her teaching certificate from the Missouri Department of Education and retired as an elementary school teacher having taught in Missouri and California.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Lee Arthur Kirchhoff; two daughters, Kathy Strom (Eric) of Chapin, SC and Kim Wittekind (Bryan) of Springfield; five grandchildren, Michelle Strom, Katrina Wittekind Madariaga (Ernys), Moriah Wittekind LeRoy (Patrick), Wesley Wittekind (Jessie) and Deanna Wittekind and her fiancée, Delaney Goodin; five great grandchildren, Alice Toeniskoetter, Sebestian Madariaga, Avery Toeniskotter, Miriam LeRoy and William Leroy; a sister, Joyce Hook of Warrensburg, MO and two brothers, Gale Allen of Warrensburg, MO and Gary Allen (Deloris) of Belton, MO.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 9th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Bryan Wittekind and Jeff Evans, officiating.

Visitation will be after 10:00 Saturday morning at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
