Flora Mae (Bird) Nethery

Flora Mae Bird Nethery, age 85, of Lawrenceburg, KY formerly of Willisburg, passed away at 4:10 a.m., Saturday, April 23, 2022 at the Bedrock Health Care at Green Meadows in Mt. Washington.

A native of Washington County, she was born on December 9, 1936 to the late Amos and Hattie Lee Boblitt Bird.

She was a homemaker.

Preceding her in death were two sons, Terry Lane Burns and Larry Dewayne Burns; a sister, Sue Anna Curtsinger and two brothers, Virgil Lee and Hobert Bird.

Survivors include three daughters, Sherry Roten-Elzy (Paul) of Cecilia, Teresa L. Brewington of Beech Grove, TN and Connie D. Parks (David) of Shelbyville; four grandchildren, Michael Mackey (Nicole), Mel Williams (Mike), Brad Burns and Nick Roten (Grace) and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 25th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Creech, pastor of the Willisburg Church of God of Prophecy, officiating.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.

Visitation will be after 10:00 Monday morning at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
