Felix G. Reynolds

Felix G. Reynolds, age 77, of Lancaster, KY formerly of Mackville was called home to Jesus on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.

He was born in Harrodsburg, KY on June 7, 1947 to the late Irvin and Dorothy Pinkston Reynolds.

He was a faithful and active member of Indian Hills Christian Church. A 1965 graduate of Mackville High School and a 1970 graduate of the University of Kentucky School of Pharmacy. He was a United States Army veteran.

He selflessly dedicated himself to others during his pharmaceutical career and as a board member of several local organizations. Together with his trusted friend, Kelly Mink, former longtime co-owners of Sutton Pharmacy in Lancaster, KY, he faithfully served his community on days, nights, after hours, holidays and weekends. With his vast knowledge of medicine and genuine depth of concern for others, he made a life changing difference to countless people. In his retirement, he generously dedicated his time to loving his whole family very well, crafting beautiful and unique walking sticks and cruising in his favorite red car.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 56 years, Carolyn Ann Russell Reynolds; his beloved sons, Russell Scott (Lisa) Reynolds and Paul Brandon (Shannah) Reynolds; his treasured grandchildren Jacob Tyler, Julianna Lauren, Mason Carter and Olivia Kate all of Lancaster; his brother, Nelson ((Peggy) Reynolds of Mackville and several nieces and nephews.

As his family, we miss him greatly. Blessed beyond measure by his presence in our lives, we are forever grateful for Felix and the love he generously bestowed on us all.

In keeping with his wishes cremation was chosen and there will be no visitation. A private graveside service with inurnment will be in the Lancaster Cemetery.
