Eric Lee Matherly

Eric Lee Matherly, age 39, of Jimtown Road, Springfield, KY passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023 at his home.

He was born in Lebanon, Kentucky on December 2, 1983 to Marty Bruce and Lorie Ann Coulter Matherly.

He was a member of the Brush Grove Baptist Church, a 2002 graduate of Washington County High School and a painter.

Preceding him in death was his maternal grandmother, Deloris Lewis Coulter on July 6, 2022 and his paternal grandfather, Tony B. Matherly on January 1, 1998.

Survivors include his mother, Lorie Ann Adams; his father and step-mother, Marty and Connie Matherly; two daughters, Brianna Faith Matherly and Dekota Danielle Keene; a brother, Brandon Scott Matherly; a niece, Emberlin Matherly; his paternal grandmother, Ruby Matherly and his maternal grandfather, Georgie Coulter all of Springfield.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 21st at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Darrell Jewell, officiating.

Burial will be on Cemetery Hill.

Serving as pallbearers will be Aaron Coulter, Derek Coulter, Timmy Matherly, Josh Derringer, Jeremy Coulter and Timmy Coulter.

Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 Monday at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
