Emily Royalty Obituary
Emily Carey Royalty, of Springfield, KY made her transition on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at the age of 98 with her daughters by her side.
Emily was born December 30, 1927 in Washington County, Kentucky.
She is predeceased by her husband of over sixty years, John C. Royalty and her parents, William Herbert and Eunice Pinkston Carey; two sisters and a brother.
She is survived by her daughters, Pamela Royalty and D.C. Royalty, son-in-law, Alan Charvis and beloved kitten, Duchess, plus nieces and nephews
Emily worked for twenty years at St. Dominic School in various capacities. Working with the children brought her great joy.
At her request, no service or visitation is planned.
Private inurnment will be on Cemetery Hill in Springfield.
