Elizabeth Ann "Liz" (McFarland) Wright

Elizabeth Ann “Liz” McFarland Wright, 77, of Springfield passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 in Danville, KY.  Born February 12, 1943 in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late Rue Oatley and Virginia Dare King McFarland.  She was also preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Sandra Richardson. Liz loved cats, antiques, and raising day lilies.  She had also been a quilter. 

She is survived by her husband, Craig Welch of Springfield; two brothers; Rue (Carolyn) McFarland of Louisville and Gary McFarland of Junction City; and one sister, Nina (Randy) Gordon of Danville.

A visitation will be held at Carey and Son Funeral Home in Springfield, KY on Saturday, February 6, 2021 from 1-3 pm.  A Funeral Service will follow at 3 pm with Rev. Mac Marye officiating.  She will be taken to Hustonville Cemetery, Hustonville, KY to be buried with her parents.
