Douglas Dwight Terrell

Douglas Dwight Terrell, age 71, of Willisburg, KY passed away at 4:31 p.m. Thursday, November 30, 2023 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.

He was born on August 11, 1952 in Lebanon, KY to the late William “Bill” and Nettie Drury Terrell.

He was a retired farmer.

Preceding him in death were three sisters, Eathel Ray Terrell on March 8, 1929, Frances Richardson on November 25, 2013 and Billie Boblett on January 3, 2023 and two brothers, Rudolph “Doc” Terrell on November 28, 2011 and Gary Terrell on March 31, 2021.

Survivors include three sons, Brandon Terrell and Timothy Terrell (Elizabeth) of Willisburg and Aaron Terrell of Louisville; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren and one sister, Shelby Loveland of Lebanon.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 Monday morning, December 4th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Winfred Hagerman, officiating.

Burial will be in the High View Cemetery at Chaplin.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 Sunday and after 8:00 Monday morning at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
