Doris Brady Obituary

Doris Mae Brown Brady, age 79, of Rizer Avenue, Springfield, KY passed away at 2:46 a.m., Sunday, May 9, 2021 at her home.

A native of Washington County, she was born on April 21, 1942 to the late Eldon Roy and Beulah Mae Chesser Brown.

She was a member of the Temple Baptist Church, a 1960 graduate of Willisburg High School, a former employee of the Dollar General Store and a homemaker.

Preceding her in death was her daughter, Debbie Brady Cambron on August 27, 2006; a son-in-law, John Cambron on October 2, 1992; a sister, Mary Louise Brown Scrogham on February 9, 1958 and a brother, William Brown on July 12, 1994.

Survivors include her husband, Prentice Brady; a grandson, Brian Cambron (Tonya) of Bardstown; a granddaughter, Brittany Cambron (Alicia) of Clarksville, TN; a nephew, Billy Joe Brown and a niece, Lisa Ann Miller both of Junction City.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 13th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. John McDaniel, officiating. He will be assisted by Rev. Bobby Chesser.

Burial will be in the Peter Cemetery at Mackville.

Serving as pallbearers will be Al Stevens, Keith Stevens, Jeffrey Brady. Ricky Brady, Don Carney and Charles Logan.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 Wednesday at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
