Dora Ann Moran Gray, age 75, of Springfield, KY passed away at 9:25 a.m., Sunday, April 6, 2025 at the Springfield Nursing & Rehab Center.
She was born in Boyle County on April 18, 1949 to the late James Edward and Georgia Lee Bottoms Moran.
She was a graduate of Boyle County High School, the University of Kentucky and was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. Dora was a retired social worker for the State of Kentucky having worked most of her career in the Ft. Mitchell area.
Preceding her in death was a son, Henry Marshell Baker, Jr.; a brother, Ray Moran and four sisters, Imogene Warner, Lou Hagan, Katherine Young and Dorothy Ellery.
Survivors include two sons, Anthony Quinn Baker (Amanda) of Springfield and Greg Baker (Linda) of Harrodsburg; a daughter, Theresa Crank of Richmond; fifteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a sister, Alice Lacey of Tennessee and a brother, Herb Moran (Phoebe) of Maryland.
In keeping with her wishes cremation was chosen. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
