Donnetta (Hood) Jones

Donnetta Hood Jones, age 64, of Lebanon, KY passed away at 2:42 a.m., Thursday, January 9, 2025 at the Spring View Hospital in Lebanon.

She was born in Louisville, KY on February 11, 1960.

Preceding her in death was her mother, Audrey Hood Carey on August 6, 2003, her step father, J. W. Carey and her maternal grandmother, Elsie Lewis on September 18, 1995.

Survivors include a daughter, Lacy Owens  and her husband Jon of Lebanon; three grandchildren, Braylie Owens, Joe Coulter and Bailey Coulter; a brother, Allan Carey (Joann) and a sister, Marlene Carey Treadway (Melvin) both of Lebanon; two nephews, Joe Coulter (Chasity) and Cameron Mattingly and one niece, Kristy Carey and several great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Sunday, January 12th at the Redemption Point Church of God with Rev. Jeremy Thompson, the church pastor, officiating.

Visitation will be after 10:00 Sunday morning at the church

Serving as pallbearers will be Jon Owens, Joe Coulter, Melvin Treadway, Clayton Coulter, Donnie Murphy and George Rakes.

Burial will be in the Ryder Cemetery in Lebanon.
