Donald Wayne Thompson

Donald Wayne Thompson, age 59, of Spaulding Lane, Springfield, KY passed away at Monday, September 12, 2022 at his home.

He was born in Lebanon, KY on September 6, 1963 to the late Wilmo and Julia Marie Chesser Thompson.

He was a member of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church and a former employee of Ohio Valley Aluminum.

Preceding him in death was his wife, Tammy Lou Curtsinger Thompson on September 9, 2021.

Survivors include his son, James Will Thompson of Springfield; two sisters, Barbara Miles and Sandra Dodd both of Bardstown and four brothers, Garry Thompson of Springfield, Gerald Thompson (Mildred) of Shelbyville, Billy Thompson (Lois) of Lebanon and Joe Thompson (Diane) of Cox’s Creek.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 16th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. J.W. Hatfield, officiating.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.

Visitation will be after 10:00 Friday morning at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
