Donald Edwin “Don” Scott

Donald Edwin “Don” Scott, age 93, of Willisburg, KY passed away at 8:25 p.m., Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at his home.

A native of Washington County, he was born on September 1, 1930 to the late Hollis and Edith Milburn Scott.

He was a member of the Brush Grove Baptist Church and a retired employee of General Electric Company of Louisville.

Preceding him in death was his wife, Ruby Burkhead Scott on July 6, 2021; a sister, Louise Hardin on February 7, 2002 and two brothers, Olson Scott on February 1, 1994 and Charles “Bill” Scott on November 15, 2013.

Survivors include a daughter, Darlene Trent of Willisburg; three sons, Larry Scott (Betty Sue) of Willisburg, Garry Scott (Janet) of Chaplin and Darrell Scott (Penny) of Willisburg; nine grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 24th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Everett Hood, officiating.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 Friday and after 8:00 Saturday morning at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
