Dixie Lee Pinkston, age 70, of Paris, formerly of Springfield, KY passed away at 4:35 p.m., Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at his home after an illness.
He was born in Lebanon, KY on March 15, 1954 to the late William Russell and Geneva Baker Pinkston.
He was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Paris, a 1972 graduate of Washington County High School, and Army Veteran and was the former owner and operator of Pinkston’s Electronics of Springfield.
Preceding him in death was a brother, Gary Pinkston on April 18, 2014.
Survivors include his wife, Sheilda Haydon Pinkston; a daughter, Jessica Osborne (Gerald) of Paris; two grandchildren, Veronica Perez and Trinity Osborne; a sister, Deborah Pinkston of Springfield; two brothers, J.L. Pinkston (Eleanor) of Willisburg and Charles Pinkston (Shirl) of Springfield and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 1st at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Josh Ancello, officiating. He will be assisted by Rev. Jerry Goss.
Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg where military rites will be conducted by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.
Visitation will be from 5:30 until 8:00 Friday and after 8:00 until the time of service on Saturday at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
