Deborah Lynn (Stone) Carney

Deborah Lynn Stone Carney, age 69, of the Mooresville Community of Washington County, KY passed away Saturday, September 20, 2025 at her home.

She was born in Louisville, KY on November 21, 1955 to Preston Ray and Lorraine Byrd Stone.

She was a member of the Redemption Point Church of God and a former employee of Inoac of Springfield.

Preceding her in death was a son, Michael Brian Cox on December 2, 2007; her father, Preston Ray Stone, a sister, Judy Sharon King and a brother, Patrick Owen Stone.

Survivors include two sons, Kenny (Lee Ann) Cox of Bloomfield and Nick Cox of Springfield; two daughters, Candace (Davis) Purdom of Savannah, GA and Rian (Luke) Carney of Springfield; nine grandchildren, James Logan Purdom, Preston John Purdom, Lindsey Michelle Cox, Noah Thomas Purdom, Robert Ethan Bunch, Landon Davis Purdom, Grace Lorraine Cox, Anthony Braden Deringer and Aubrey Laikynn Deringer; her mother, Lorraine Svidron of Springfield; a sister, Vicky Ray Ramirez of Lebanon and a brother, Myron Dane (Laura) Stone of Homer Glen, Illinois.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 24th at the Redemption Point Church of God with Rev. Jeremy Thompson, officiating.

Burial will be in the Redemption Point Church Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be her six grandsons.

Visitation will be at the church after 11:00 Wednesday morning.
