Deborah Ann (Mosier) Carney

Deborah Ann Mosier Carney, age 74, of Harrodsburg, KY passed away at 2:06 p.m., Monday, November 13, 2023 at her home.

She was born in Cookeville, TN on May 3, 1949 to the late James Monroe and Virginia Ann Howard Mosier.

She was a member of the Delaware Baptist Church in Delaware, Arkansas, a graduate of Putham County High School and East Tennessee State University, a veteran of the United States Navy and registered nurse.

Preceding her in death was a grandson, William Carney and a brother, James Mosier.

Survivors include her husband, John Carney; two sons, John Calvin Carney, Jr. of Harrodsburg and Joseph Christian Carney (Chie) of Delaware, Arkansas; a granddaughter, Jessica Mia Carney and a brother, Howard P. Mosier (Terry) of Morristown, TN.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, November 18th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Aaron Sherrell, officiating.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg where military rites will be conducted by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 Friday at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
