David Clyde Wilson, age 76, of Lawrenceburg Road, Willisburg, KY, passed away at 2:17 a.m., Sunday, June 12, 2022 at Baptist Health in Elizabethtown.
He was born in Marion County on April 17, 1946 to the late Pearman H. and Nina Royalty Wilson.
He was a member of the Redemption Point Church of God, a 1965 graduate of Willisburg High School, a member of J. Speed Smith Masonic Lodge # 298 F & A.M., a former welder for Link-Belt and a farmer.
Preceding him in death was a granddaughter, Sarah Wilson on February 18, 2013 and two brothers, Asa Parks Wilson on September 25, 2009 and Danny Eugene Wilson on May 10, 2018.
Survivors include four sons, Davy Wilson (Anne) of Mackville, Mike Wilson (Rebecca) of Willisburg, Mark Wilson (Angela) of Lancaster and Jamie Wilson (Nicole) of Willisburg; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a sister, Nina Belle Durr (Roger) of Georgetown and a brother, Maurice Wilson (Jane) of Willisburg.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 15th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Lumbrix, pastor of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.
The grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Serving as casket bearers will be Davy Wilson, Mike Wilson, Mark Wilson, Jamie Wilson, Nicolas Wilson and Michael Mills.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 Tuesday at the Carey & Son Funeral Home. A Masonic service will be held at 6:30 Tuesday night at the funeral home.
