David Coulter

Cretes David Coulter, age 75, of Willisburg, KY passed away at 9:01 a.m., Friday, March 7, 2025 at his home.

He was born on March 18, 1949 in Lebanon to the late Charles Eugene and Nelly Kathryn Yankey Coulter.

He was a member of the Willisburg Baptist Church, a 1967 graduate of Willisburg High School and a retired employee of the Kentucky Department of Transportation where he worked with the Washington County Road Crew.

Preceding him in death was his wife, Janice Lee “Jan” Logue Coulter on June 22, 2020 and a sister, Lisa L. Bowen on May 30, 2023.

Survivors include his daughter, Melissa Coulter; a sister, Charlotte Parrott (Larry); a brother, Paul Coulter (Joanna) all of Willisburg; a niece, Hannah Coulter; three nephews, Larry Joe Parrott, Tyler Coulter (Lizzie) and Trae Coulter (Jennifer); a great nephew, Charles Kent Coulter and a great niece, Colleen Elizabeth Coulter.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 11th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Lance Ladd, officiating.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Coulter, Trae Coulter, Hannah Coulter, Larry Joe Parrott, Sherry Ross, Crystal Tingle, Tracy Hood, Ashley Hood, David Spalding, Jackie Brown and Bob Abell.

Serving as casket bearers will be Paul Coulter, Roy Lee Ross, Doug Sims, Spencer Sims, Nathan Hood, Jimmy Hurst and Ben Hurst.

Visitation will be after 10:00 Tuesday morning.
