Connie Carolyn Cornish

Connie Carolyn Cornish, age 81, of Willisburg, KY passed away at 1:18 p.m., Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Baptist Health in Louisville.

A native of Washington County, she was born on December 12, 1943 to the late Charles Vernon “C.V.” and Noralee Adams Cornish.

She was of the Baptist faith, a 1961 graduate of Willisburg High School and a graduate of New Mexico State College. She was a retired school teacher having taught for the Jefferson County Public School System.

Preceding her in death was an infant brother, Dale Alan Cornish in April of 1952 and a sister-in-law, Nancy Elliott Cornish on October 13, 2014.

Survivors include her brother, Sherrell Cornish of Springfield.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 10th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. John McDaniel, officiating.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.

Serving as pallbearers will be Derek Coulter, Vincent Weatherly, Todd Elliott, Tucker Elliott, David Tingle and Brad Renfro.

Visitation will be after 10:00 Thursday morning at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
