Christine (Yaste) Taylorson

Christine Yaste Taylorson, age 81, of Louisville, formerly of Willisburg passed away at 7:10 a.m., Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at the Eastern Star Home in Louisville.

A native of Washington County, she was born on June 13, 1939 to the late William Ballard and Annie P. Wohner Yaste.

She was a member of the Willisburg Baptist Church and attended the High View Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were two brothers, James Ballard Yaste on July 25, 2009 and Danny Yaste on October 28, 2017.

Survivors include a son, Hal Anthony Taylorson; a daughter, Tina Marie Shemwell (James) of Louisville; two grandchildren, Kristi Carmickle and Lauren Shemwell; two great grandchildren, Sheyanne Carmickle and Brooklyn Carmickle and three brothers, Billy Yaste (Donna), Gerald Yaste (Mary) and Tommy Yaste all of Willisburg,

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 12th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. J.W. Hatfield, pastor of the Willisburg Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.

Visitation will be after 12 Noon Saturday at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
