Christine Marie "Christy" (Lawrence) Caldwell

Christine Marie “Christy” Lawrence Caldwell, age 67, of Springfield, KY formerly of the Deatsville Community of Nelson County, passed away at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at her home.

She was born on May 5, 1954 in Bardstown to the late James Reed and Cecilia Lorraine Krimm Lawrence.

She was a member of the St. Dominic Catholic Church and was a 1972 graduate of Bethlehem High School.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Richard Harloe Caldwell, Sr.; a daughter, Rebecca Cay Caldwell; a sister, Mary Evelyn Hilbert and three brothers, Robert, Allen and John Lawrence.

Survivors include; a son, Richard H. Caldwell, Jr. of Springfield; a daughter, Catherine Philippi (John) of Dallas, Texas; six sisters, Verlee Hilbert, Laverne Roby, Inez Crepps (Jim), Linda Jean Lawrence, Theresa Padgett (David) and Cathy Targonski and four brothers, Sam Lawrence (Linda), Frank Lawrence, Joe Lawrence (Elizabeth) and Bruce Lawrence.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 27th at the St. Dominic Catholic Church with Rev. David Farrell, officiating.

Burial will be in the St. Gregory Cemetery in Nelson County.

There will be no public visitation.
