Christian Taylor Jones

Christian Taylor Jones, age 21, of Springfield, KY passed away Thursday, July 31, 2025 in Springfield.

He was born in Lebanon, KY on June 19, 2004.

He was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, a 2022 graduate of Washington County High School, a Marine Veteran and an employee of Hardee’s of Springfield. He was a beloved son, grandson, nephew and cousin.

Christian enjoyed basketball, video games, spending time with family, hiking, traveling and movies with his dad.

Preceding him in death was his mother, Donna Leanne Walker on October 10, 2013 and his maternal grandmother, Lydia Ann Tucker.

Survivors include his father, Christopher A. Jones of Springfield; a brother, Talon Walker of Springfield; a sister, Kylie Parker of Columbia; his paternal grandmother, Sue Ashcraft of Willisburg; his maternal grandfather, Tommy Walker; his maternal great grandmother, Catherine Tucker both of Springfield and a host of extended family.

A Mass of Christian Burial  will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 5th at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Rev. Pier Giorgio Dengler, O.P. and Rev. Joachim Kenney, O.P., officiating.

Private inurnment will be in the St. Dominic-Holy Rosary Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 9:00 Tuesday morning at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
