Charles Lynn Crain

Charles Lynn Crain, age 71, of the Texas Community of Washington County, KY passed away at 10:43 a.m., Sunday, March 5, 2023 at his home after an illness.

He was born in Lebanon, KY on November 29, 1951 to the late Raymond Lee and Lela Mae Alsip Crain.

He was a member of the New Beginnings Community Church, a 1969 graduate of Washington County High School, an army veteran of the Vietnam War and a retired supervisor of the Kentucky Department of Corrections.

Survivors include his wife, Vickie Clements Crain; a son, Allen Crain of Mackville; three daughters, Bethany Walker (Steve) of Mackville, Jessica Coffman (Michael) and April Wilkerson of Liberty; seven grandchildren; a sister, Brenda Patton (Ronnie) of Campbellsville and a brother Mike Crain of Campbellsville.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 10th at the New Beginnings Community Church with Rev. Stacy Wilson, the church pastor.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation will follow the funeral service and burial of his cremains will be on Friday, March 17th at 2:30 p.m. at the Lebanon National Cemetery where military rites will be conducted by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.

Serving as pallbearers will be Wayne Patton, Steve Walker, Mason Myers, Doug Clements, Tate Clements and Carter Blanton.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 Thursday at the New Beginnings Community Church.
