Charles Ray Carrier, age 94, of, of Springfield, KY passed away at 4:46 p.m., Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at the Springfield Nursing & Rehab Center in Springfield.
A native of Bullitt County, he was born on November 2, 1928 to the late Haskel Elijah and Luvinia Berdine Carrier.
He was a member of the Willisburg Church of God of Prophecy, a retired employee of Kentucky Manufacturing and a member of the Robinson-Plumb Masonic Lodge # 266 F & A.M. in Louisville and a member of the Scottish Rite.
Preceding him in death was his first wife, Joan Margaret Carrier; his second wife, Christine Hood Carrier; a son, Charles Leon Carrier; a daughter, Linda Royalty; a grandson, Charles Leon Carrier, Jr.; a sister, Barbara Carrier Moore and a brother, Richard Carrier.
Survivors include three daughters, Shelia Steiner (Johnnie) of Morgan City, LA, Judy Montgomery (Danny) of Willisburg and Teresa Franklin (Rusty) of Mt. Eden; two sons, Terry Tingle (Eva) of Springfield and Roger Tingle (Sheila) of Chaplin; fifteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren and two brothers, Michael Carrier of Springfield and Jackie Carrier of Shepherdsville.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 18th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Willingham, officiating,
Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.
A masonic service will be held at 7:00 Tuesday evening at the funeral home with Billy Riggs delivering the eulogy.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 Tuesday at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
