Carolyn Ann (Johnson) Coleman

Carolyn Ann Johnson Coleman, age 81, of Jimtown Road, Springfield, KY passed away at 2:42 p.m., Thursday, June 30, 2022 at her home.

She was born in Perryville, KY on September 9, 1940 to the late Willie C. and Anna Mae Johnson.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church and a former employee of Sansbury Care Center.

Preceding her in death was her husband, William Martin Coleman on April 8, 1997; a sister, Janie Christine Osbourne and two brothers, Sammy and Chuck Johnson.

Survivors include three daughters, Mae Alice Coleman (Ricky) and Carolyn Louise Coleman (Arthur) both of Springfield and Marie Jean Coleman Forbes (Robert) of Lexington; four sons, David Martin Coleman (Terri) of Lexington, Charles Allen Coleman, Harold Thomas Coleman and Victor Stewart Coleman (Stephanie) all of Springfield; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and one brother, Charles Johnson of Louisville.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 5th at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Gene Livers, the church pastor, officiating.

Burial will be on Cemetery Hill.

Visitation will be after 10:30 Tuesday morning at the church.
