Bobby Leon Wyatt, age 83, of Springfield, KY passed away at 7:45 p.m., Sunday, October 29, 2023 at Baptist Health in Louisville.
He was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on May 21, 1940 to the late Burt and Hallie Raley Wyatt.
He received his bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University in New York and was a retired employee of IBM. His second career was a business broker with Dailey Resources, Inc. for 35 years.
Bob loved God, family, friends and enjoyed working in his shop, woodworking and driving his tractor. He attended the River of Life Church in Springfield.
Preceding him in death was a sister, Mary Wyatt and a brother, Jerry Wyatt.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Jane Dailey; a son, Bruce Wyatt (Kathie) of Versailles; a daughter, Sherry Huffman (Jim) of Versailles; a son Matthew Browning (Jeanette) of Keller, Texas and a daughter, Teresa Lowery (James “Johnny”) of Willisburg; ten grandchildren, Amanda, Leah, Elizabeth, Kristin, James, Blake, Collin, Emily, Kaitlyn and Olivia and ten great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 4th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Troy Shelton, officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be Allen Dailey, Daryll Pope, Tyler Dailey, Monte Dailey, James Lowery, Collin Lowery, and Kaitlyn Browning.
A graveside service and interment will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday at the Beard Cemetery in Scott County.
Visitation will be after 9:00 Saturday morning at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
