Billy Frank Coulter, Sr., age 79, of Willisburg, KY passed away ay 6:05 a.m., Saturday, April 29, 2023 at his home after an illness.
A native of Washington County, he was born on January 18, 1944 to the late Harold G. and Irma Kays Coulter.
He was a member of the Free Pentecostal Church, a retired farmer and former employee of Four Roses Distillery in Lawrenceburg and Parkview IGA.
Preceding him in death was his first wife, Judy Lynn Carter Coulter on August 30, 2011 and a brother, David Harold Coulter on November 30, 2018.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Carol Shely Coulter; two sons, Billy Frank Coulter, Jr. (Tammy) and Harold Thomas Coulter (Jennett) of Willisburg; a step-son, Danny Richardson, Jr. (Desiree) of Lawrenceburg; a step-daughter, Julie Carlton (Marvin, Jr.) of Springfield; ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; a sister, Emma Jean Hellard (Rickie) of Willisburg and four brothers, Marvin Coulter (Margaret) of Springfield, Darrol Coulter (Laura) of Willisburg, Bruce Coulter (Sharon) of Mt. Eden and Johnny Coulter (Darlene) of Lawrenceburg.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 2nd at the Free Pentecostal Church with Rev. Thomas Hogue, the church pastor, officiating. He will be assisted by Rev. J.W. Hatfield and Rev. Rusty Townsend.
Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Marvin, Bruce, Johnny and Darrol Coulter, Emma Jean and Rickie Hellard, Beth Fields and Veanna Keeling.
Serving as casket bearers will be Willie Chesser, Mike Coulter, Matthew Coulter, Josh Riley, David White and Philip Sparrow.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 Monday at the Carey & Son Funeral Home and after 10:00 Tuesday morning at the church.
