Billy White

William Reid “Billy” White, age 83, of Willisburg, KY passed away at 4:16 p.m., Thursday, October 12, 2023 at his home after an illness.

A native of Washington County, he was born on August 19, 1940 to the late Thomas Marshall and Pauline Charley White.

He was a member of the Willisburg Christian Church, a 1959 graduate of Mackville High School and a retired farmer.

Preceding him in death was a brother, Thomas Wathen White and four sisters, Joyce Curtsinger, Louise Bland, Iris Gaye Terrell and Jean Lawson.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Humes White; four sons, Reid White (Wendy) of Lexington, South Carolina, Tommy White, David White (Donna) and Darnell White (Holli) all of Willisburg; ten grandchildren, Justin White, Rachel McMurtry (Brad), Ryan White (Maddie), Matthew White, Lauren Herth (Adam), Grace White, Madison White, Daphne Moore (Aaron), Shelby Sawyer (Brady) and McCabe White; six great grandchildren, Lynette and Isaiah McMurtry, Meredith and Jack White, Abel Herth and Jude Moore and a brother, Perry White (Teresa) of Mackville.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 16th at the Willisburg Christian Church with Bro. Lance Ladd, the church minister, officiating.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be the granddaughters.

Serving as pallbearers will be Justin White, Ryan White, Matthew White, McCabe White, Brad McMurtry, Adam Herth, Aaron Moore and Brady Sawyer.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday and after 8:00 a.m. Monday morning with all visitation being held at the church.
