Billy Ray Goff, age 74, of Mackville, KY passed away at 9:15 a.m., Friday, July 19, 2024 at Baptist Health in Louisville surrounded by his family.
He was born on December 24, 1949 in Lebanon, KY to the late Charles William and Myrtle Lewis Goff.
He was a member of the Unity Baptist Church and a retired maintenance mechanic for M & J Construction,
Preceding him in death were two sisters, Martha Wimsatt on May 4, 2003 and Valerie Hill on June 4, 1996 and three brothers, Charles Richard Goff on May 24, 1995, Carl Dewayne Goff on November 11, 2007 and Jimmie Allen Goff on November 23, 2012.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Pinkston Goff; a daughter, Melissa Marple (Robert) of Mackville; a son, Philip Goff (Jenn) of Springfield; three grandchildren, Logan Marple (Madi Perez), Ella Logsdon and Danni Logsdon and two sisters, Wanda Chesser (Johnny) of High Grove and Donna Mattingly (Karl) of Mt. Washington.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 23rd at the Unity Baptist Church with Rev. Jordan Simpson, officiating.
Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.
Serving as pallbearers will be James Alan Carpenter, John Coulter, Chris Chesser, Brian Goff, Larry Hill and Alex Wimsatt.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be the nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made toward funeral expenses.
Visitation will be after 10:00 Tuesday morning until time of the service.
