Betty Lou (Votaw) Dean

Betty Lou Votaw Dean, age 88, of Springfield, KY passed away at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, June 30, 2022 in Campbellsville.

A native of Washington County, she was born on June 28, 1934 to the late Harvey and Virgie Bottoms Votaw.

She was a member of the Springfield Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Willis Edgar “Bill” Dean on October 30, 2012.

Survivors include a daughter, Glinda Beaven (Johnny); a son, Billy Dean; a granddaughter, Laurie Carrico (Jeff) all of Springfield; three great grandchildren, Derrick Carrico (Lauren), Morgan Carrico and Peyton Carrico and three great great grandchildren, Conner Woods, Braxton Newton and Brynley Carrico.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 6th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Aaron Sherrell, officiating.

Her cremains will be buried in the Peter Cemetery at Mackville.

Visitation will be from 9 until 11 Wednesday, July 6th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
