Barbara Ann (Hardin) Byrd

Barbara Ann Hardin Byrd, age 80, of Willisburg, KY passed away at 10:47 a.m., Monday, September 1, 2025 at the Kindred Hospital in Louisville.

She was born in Lebanon, KY on September 21, 1944 to the late Frank Arthur and Myrtle Vivian Burkhead Hardin.

She was a member of the Free Pentecostal Church, a graduate of Mackville High School and a homemaker.

Preceding her in death were four sisters, Lena Mae Milburn, Helen Moore, Jean Carey and Betty Mattingly and three brothers, William Martin Hardin, Kenneth Hardin and Frank A. Hardin, Jr.

Survivors include a daughter, Kim Simpson of Willisburg; two sons, Frankie Byrd (Tanya) of Chaplin and Joseph Byrd of Willisburg; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and two expected great grandchildren; a sister, Jewell Hood (Namon) and a brother, Joe Hardin (Patricia) both of Springfield.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 7th at the Free Pentecostal Church.

Burial will be in the Brush Grove Cemetery at Willisburg.

Visitation will be held at the Free Pentecostal Church from 4 until 8 Saturday and after 8:00 Sunday morning.
