Arlene (Smith) Reardon

Alma Arlene Smith Reardon, age 76, of the Pottsville Community of Washington County, KY passed away at 7:35 a.m., Sunday, July 13, 2025 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.

A native of Washington County, she was born on August 25, 1948 to the late Sam Richard and Mattie Lou Arnold Smith.

She was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church and a retired employee of Phillips Lighting Company of Danville.

Preceding her in death was a son, Richard Lynn “Richie” Smith on December 5, 2022 and her sister, Jane L. Smith Riley on April 2, 2023.

Survivors include her husband, Johnny Reardon; a daughter, Lisa Gonzalez (Juan) of South Carolina; a step-son, Johnny Reardon, Jr. (Tanya) of Campbellsville; three step-daughters, Marlene Richardson (Steve) of Bradfordsville, Shelby Griffin (Nathan) of Campbellsville and Amanda Reardon of Campbellsville; fourteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

In keeping with her wishes cremation was chosen and no services will be held.
