Anna Jane (Graves) Smith (Corbett)

Anna Jane Smith (Corbett), age 91, of Springfield, KY passed away at 1:07 p.m., Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at the Village of Lebanon Nursing Home.

A native of Washington County, she was born on May 7, 1934 to the late Mann and Flora Mae Goode Graves.

She was a member of the Springfield Baptist Church, a 1952 graduate of Mackville High School and owned and operated Jane’s Beauty Shop for many years before retirement.

Preceding her in death was her first husband, Robert Smith, Jr. on December 20, 1977; her second husband, Kenny Corbett on February 19, 2015; a son-in-law, Brad Lanham on April 11, 2020 and two sisters, Golden Jewel Gillespie on September 16, 2022 and Nettie Frances Calhoon on February 1, 2021.

Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Lanham and Angela Courtwright of Lebanon; a son, Randy Smith (Lisa) of Springfield; seven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and one expected in September and a great-great grandchild expected in October; a sister, Evelyn Smith of Springfield and two brothers, William Graves (Norma) of Perryville and Bobby Lynn Graves of Springfield.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 14th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Raikes, officiating. He will be assisted by Bro. Jerry Albertson.

Burial will be in the Peter Cemetery at Mackville.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be the great grandchildren, Lisa Smith, Albert Blandford, Tommy Mitchum and Carolyn Couch.

Serving as casket bearers will be Annie Spohr, Joey Keeling, Rob Keeling, Jonathan Courtwright, Randall Smith, Jesse Smith and Levi Smith.

Visitation will be from 11:00 until 2:00 Saturday at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
