Anita Rochelle Thompson

Anita Rochelle Thompson, age 55, of Springfield, KY passed away Friday, March 8, 2024 at her residence.

She was born in Lebanon, Kentucky on September 12, 1968 to the late Alton and Mary Lee Newby Thompson.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church, a 1986 graduate of Washington County High School and an employee of TG Kentucky.

Preceding her in death was a sister, Vanessa Thompson and a nephew, Jordan Hickman.

Survivors include three sisters, Yolanda Lavender (Frank) of Louisville, Terrie Hickman (Gary) and Crystal Yocum (Jeff) of Bardstown; three brothers, Leroy Thompson (Ruby), Robert Thompson (Delores Turner) of Springfield and Tyrone Thompson (Tanesha) of Louisville and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 12th at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Yocum, officiating.

Burial will be on Cemetery Hill.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 Monday at the Carey & Son Funeral Home and after 10:00 Tuesday morning at the First Baptist Church.

Carey & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
