Alice Ann (Roution) Young

Alice Ann Roution Young, age 81, of Bardstown, KY passed away at 1:35 a.m., Friday, April 11, 2025 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville.

She was born in Taylor County on November 19, 1943 to the late Clea and Katherine Robertson Roution.

Survivors include four sons, Todd Young (Wendy) of Perryville, Mike Bivens (Charlene) of High Grove, Doug Bivens (Cassie) of Shepherdsville and Darrell Bivens of Bardstown; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Yates of Springfield and three brothers, James Roution of Springfield, Charles Roution of Louisville and Donnie Roution (Shirley) of Springfield.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 17th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Hamlin, officiating.

Burial will be on Cemetery Hill in Springfield.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kayden Moyer, Will Moyer, Lucas Young, Tony Warner, D,J, Bivens and Justin Yates.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 Wednesday and after 8:00 Thursday morning at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
